Sample Projects>General Tab

Create a New Sample Project

  • With the Add Sample Project form open and in the General Tab > Details section, enter relevant details:
    Note: Red-highlighted sections are mandatory.
  • In the General Tab > Security section, enter any relevant details.
    Note: The Business Unit is also a mandatory field
  • In the General Tab > Responsible Staff section, start typing the Responsible staff names, A list of candidate names will appear based on the letters typed. The email address corresponding to the contact is auto-generated. This data comes from the defined contacts. Refer to the Contacts module for details on adding new contacts
  • In the General Tab > Lab Reports Contact Information section, enter meaningful values for the free-format text fields (optional). Start typing the Laboratory Contact name, A list of names will appear based on the letters typed. This data comes from the defined contacts. Refer to the Contacts module for details on adding new contacts
  • In the General Tab > Default Laboratory Contact Information section, , enter meaningful values for the free-format text fields (optional). Start typing the Default Laboratory Contact name, A list of names will appear based on the letters typed. This data comes from the defined contacts. Refer to the Contacts module for details on adding new contacts
  • In the General Tab > Material section, add a material by clicking the Add Material button.
  • Go to Location Tab next.

Edit a Sample Project

  • With the Sample Project form open and in the General Tab > Details section, select the Edit button (1).
  • Update the fields that should be changed (2) and when finished, changes can either be saved, cancelled or the record can be archived (3)
